Problems with Previewer Opening

Can anyone help? I have been going around and around with IMVU. Previewer had stop working for me. They could not fix it. I finally got it working. Then the next day it stopped. Un and re-installed but had to put the dload in the C:user/my name/apptdata/previewer/roaming/IMVU Previwer/Productfiles folder myself. This had worked well.. for 2 days.. not it no longer opens completely ... now i get the check your internet connection. IMVU serevice could not be reached. Yes i have completely rebooted puter after reinstalling previewer.

hmmmmmm that sounds like

hmmmmmm that sounds like quite the unique problem... you must be running vista yes ?? when you run the preveiwer install program do you "run as administrator" ?? and then after it is installed do you also have the preveiwer executable set to "run as administrator" ??

indeed i am

running vista.. been running vista and had no problems.. idk if it is running as admin, so probably not and i dont know how to make  the preveiwer executable set to "run as administrator"

ok you can right click on the

ok you can right click on the preveiwer shortcut and go properties, find the button for "find target" and click on it to open the folder that contains the executable...  look in that folder for a file named "Previewer.exe" (you may have to turn on something to make file extentions visible)... now right click on that "Previewer.exe" file and go properties, then look thru the tabs carefully and find a check box for "run as administrator", make sure the check box is checked and click ok...........

remember you must be logged on to windows as an administrator in order to see these kind of administration options...

well tyvm, but not sure why

well tyvm, but not sure why because i have done this process a few dozen times, lol, but i un and re installed last night the version 372.9, from the creator section of imvu and this time it worked. Again i stress, no clue why, i have done exactly the same thing before with no posative results. it's working, yes i would rather have 43236 version, but with all the headaches i have had getting this far, i will wait until 372.9 stops working. Again, tyvm for the ideas
